Zerrin Ziying Lin

Zerrin Ziying Lin (b. 1998) is a Chinese-Canadian artist who graduated from Sheridan College with a degree in Illustration and is currently pursuing an MFA in Painting. Her work explores how identity is shaped by invisible external forces such as architecture, environment, culture, and emotion. Working primarily in oil and acrylic on canvas, she creates dreamlike figurative spaces where memory, bodily perception, and spatial structures intersect. Her recent work examines pre-set urban paths, balance within domestic space, and identity as a shifting surface shaped by migration and adaptation.
