Ai Wang 王艾 (b. Huangyan, China) is a poet and artist, born in November 1971 in Huangyan, Zhejiang Province. Influenced by his father and elder brother, he began studying painting and poetry in his youth and started publishing poetry in the late 1980s. In the early 1990s, he worked at an animation company in Shenzhen. In 1994, he moved to Beijing and settled in the Yuanmingyuan Artist Village.
